Students Liz T. and Liz B. having a quiet moment with Charlotte Dujardin.

The Sunfox crew was incredibly lucky to get 3 rider spots in the Charlotte Dujardin Clinic hosted by SH Productions. Scott Hayes did a wonderful job of putting this world class event together and Charlotte did not disappoint! Eleonore, Liz B. and Liz T. all came away with lots of great insight and a lot of inspiration!

Sunny California could not have been a nicer time for the Sunfox crew. Three weeks with great friends, great horses and great weather, what could be better?

Lisa Lays Over at “Woodland Stallion Station” March 7, 2015

Lisa Schultz had a layover at Woodland Stallion Station on her way to a 3 Day Event in Temecula CA and there just happened to be a 3 day event clinic going on so she stayed an extra day to take part! How cool is that.

“So my layover barn in north California turned out to be an amazing eventing location!!! Plus they had a clinician coming in the next morning for a clinic! This couldn’t have been better planned if I tried,  I didn’t even know they had xc jumps here!!! So needless to say- I totally stayed an extra day and did some cross country with a fantastic, positive clinician “Yves Sauvignon”  that cares SO much about the horses! JD couldn’t have been better he is totally ready to rock a confident prelim at Galway Downs! I can’t even sleep at night I’m SO excited!”

Good job Lisa and we look forward to catching up with you in San Jaun Capistrano next week when Liz and I come down for the CDI.

Pacific Regional Dressage Championships Oct 10-12, 2014

Thank you Ali Buchanan and Sarah Dunn  and all the volunteers for putting on a great Pacific Regional Championships! Great atmosphere and even the weather co-operated for the most part. Exciting to see so many FEI horses compete.

Congratulations to Liz Trenchard and Donatello for achieving their declaration score to declare for the 2015 Pan Am Games and finishing 2nd in the amateur PSG class.

Deborah Cotter had good rides on Showgirl and finished 4th overall at First Level.

It was a first competition for Silas who settled in to being a show horse and even came home with the Reserve Championship at training level.

Malachi competed with Eleonore at second level and the pair won the Reserve Championship for that division.

Canadian Inter-provincial Equestrian Championships, Oct, 2014

Lisa wins the individual gold medal and team silver at the 2014 CIEC’s!

CIEC’s were a fantastic experience that Eleonore Elstone helped prep me for. Not only did she help me qualify with my own horse (we achieved outstanding scores so I was selected to go), but I also learned how to ride so many types of horses that she kindly lent me to practice on. In Quebec, we pretty much got given horses by pulling on straws. I was given a curly/holsteiner cross that was really cute but not the easiest. We went from 8th out of 30 on the first day, to 3rd place the next day and 2nd place the final day of showing in Blaineville Quebec! This landed me the individual GOLD MEDAL because we were consistently placing! Plus the BC Team got Silver overall!!!!  What a super experience it was to compete at this multi-discipline national competition! Thank you Eleonore for helping me win GOLD!
